Cover assigned sports, including practices and contests.

Provide Athletic Training Room coverage as assigned.

Work with the Head Athletic Trainer for football coverage, including travel with the team

Communicate regularly with coaches of assigned sports on the status of athletes injury evaluation, medical appointments, rehabilitation plan, and return to practice and competition.

Monitor concussion protocol, help establish a concussion baseline for each athlete, and monitor concussed athletes.

Report all athletic training services through documentation with proper companies; includes, but is not limited to ensuring all

student-athletes check-in upon entering the training room and entering services rendered into the designated program within 48 hours of date of service.

Help maintain organized and clean athletic training facilities.

Coordinate athletic training services with other Athletic Trainers.

Assist Head Athletic Trainer in any other expected responsibilities.

Maintain Kansas state licensure and BOC certification.

Maintain NATA membership and adhere to the Membership Standards, including following policies and procedures and code of ethics.

Model professionalism.

Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S. Degree in athletic training or related field.

BOC certified and licensed in, or be able to obtain a license, in the state of Kansas
