- Coach your team to win. However, the development to character in the Christian student-athlete is more important than winning.

- Conduct your practices in a manner that reflects professionalism, a Christ-like witness and a concern for the total welfare of the student-athlete, including their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development.

- Check practice facilities at the conclusion of each practice or contest for equipment pick-up and facility cleanliness.

- Store equipment appropriately, so it is available for the next practice, game or season.

- Communicate with the AD about your dreams, plans, hopes, concerns, problems and needs of your sport. Avoid having the AD surprised about anything in your program.

- .Warn your athletes that there are inherent risks in participating in intercollegiate sports.

- Arrange and supervise community outreach opportunities for your team. Minimum of one on-campus and one off-campus event per academic year.

  3. Maintain a roster on Varsity and JV of 40 or more players. Varsity roster is set at 26.
  4. Follow all Cascade Conference, NAIA, guidelines, policies, and expectations regarding eligibility and recruiting specific to womens soccer.
  5. Operate within established budget. Read, understand, and follow all rules and timelines applying to financial aid, scholarships, insurance, injuries, travel, transportation, purchasing, and end of the year expectations.
  6. Schedule and confirm all games, scrimmages, and referees, and submit schedules to the Director of Athletics and the Director of Sports Information.
  7. Provide advanced instruction and coaching appropriate for college level competition and student-athletes.
  8. Serve as mentor and supervisor to assistant coaches.
  9. Report all required game information to the Director of Sports Information on a timely basis.
  10. Report and follow up on all accidents and injuries with the athletic trainer. Take responsibility for insurance information and procedures until the athlete has completed all responsibilities.

PART TIME ATHLETIC TRAINER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Part-time staff position assisting the Athletic Training staff in all facets of a Collegiate Athletic Training Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Oversee the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Assist with annual student-athlete physical examinations.

Complete medical coverage of assigned teams.

Assist with medical insurance coordination - write and upkeep accurate medical records.

Assist with home and away event coverage

Provide for the development of student athletes spiritual growth and athletic well-being.

Perform duties necessary for the day-to-day operations in the athletic training room.

Design, review and administer rehabilitation programs.

Communicate with Head Coaches and Allied Health Professionals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Baccalaureate Degree in Kinesiology or related field; Masters preferred.

NATABOC certification for at least 2 years.

Experience in the college/university setting.

Good organizational skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
